Course History, Photos & Scorecard

History In The Making.

Built in 1927, Morrison Lake Golf Club has passed the test of time to become a favorite for golfers from Grand Rapids, Lansing, and anyone who visits. Conveniently located off I-96 in Ionia County, the course is a short drive from Grand Rapids or Lansing, and just a stone's throw from the towns of Lowell, Portland, Ionia, Lake Odessa, and Hastings.

The course consists of 18 holes, sitting adjacent to historic Morrison Lake in Saranac, Michigan. The Par 70 golf course layout has a rating of 65.7 and a slope of 102. Morrison Lake is a very player-friendly course, but be careful, because there are several holes waiting to jump up and bite you if you lose focus. The course boasts meticulously maintained greens that are the pride of Western Michigan.  In order to reach the greens, golfers must navigate the pine-lined fairways and numerous ponds & creeks that bisect the course, while majestic Morrison Lake serves as the backdrop.

Whether you are looking to play a round of golf with friends or family, trying to find a home course to become a member, play in a fun & exciting golf league, or plan a golf outing or tournament...Morrison Lake is certainly a golf course to consider.
